While commercial farming focuses on selling, subsistence farming farms for their family or the community.Subsistence is a small farm compared to a larger farm for commercial. Commercial farming started in 1830 with the idea of Cyrus McCormick invention.While subsistence farming started as soon as vegetables and fruits and animals were able to grow.

With a commercial farm it’s more of a farm for Walmart, Publix, Winn Dixie, etc.Those places are called agribusiness.Instead if the food going directly to the agribusiness from the commercial farm to be processed. The idea of the fruit or veggie has been changed to something else before getting to its destination.All of that just for the money

While with a subsistence farming is for country’s or city’s without all of those big named agribusiness. Like KC’S Produce would be a subsistence farming agribusiness.It is well known to do in the countries of Asia.Instead of farming being about the money, it’s about health and caring for others.
